East Petersburg is where we process food for freezing and dehydration. The dehydration process enables us to utilize greater volumes of produce and reduce the amount that ends up on the compost pile.
Volunteers can sign up to help prep food for the dehydrator as well as process other food as needed. We have very limited space and all volunteers must be scheduled prior to their shift.
We also use this location to store donated food with a longer shelf life. This allows us to receive large volumes of product as it’s available and distribute it as needed.
