We are thrilled to share the impactful work being done through our Ministry Selection Centers. These facilities are vital resources for partner ministries—including churches, disaster relief organizations, food banks, and other nonprofits—providing them with a diverse range of food products that would otherwise go to waste.
Our partner ministries gain access cards upon registration, enabling them to select the food items they need. While the food is offered for free, a minimal handling fee per pound helps us cover operational costs. This setup is designed to assist food banks and other charities by transforming large volumes of donated food into manageable portions.
In July 2022, we proudly opened this 29,000 sq. ft. Ministry Selection Center in Lancaster, PA. This facility allows our partner ministries to select dry goods, refrigerated goods, and frozen goods, empowering them to serve their communities more effectively. Previously, ministries selected food in a small section of our Leola Warehouse, but we quickly outgrew that space.
All the food at our Selection Center is generously donated by food suppliers who contribute their excess food. We are incredibly grateful to our food suppliers and our amazing volunteers, who diligently sort and repackage the bulk food into sizes manageable for our partner ministries.
