Dear Friends,
Twenty years ago, Blessings of Hope started with a vision, a willingness to serve, and a single sedan.
There was no fleet of trucks. No large warehouse. No Ministry Selection Centers. No nationwide network of ministry partners.
Just a beginning.
And like many beginnings, there were plenty of unknowns.
Over the past 20 years, there have been moments when we didn’t know exactly what the next step would look like. There were challenges to overcome, needs that seemed bigger than our resources, and times when the road ahead wasn’t always clear.
But we kept going.
We kept going because the need was too great to stop. We kept going because people were hungry. We kept going because perfectly good food was being wasted while families and communities needed it.
And most importantly, we kept going because we trusted God to provide what was needed for the journey.
This month, as we celebrate 20 years of Blessings of Hope, we look back with grateful hearts at how far God has brought us.

What began with one car has grown into a fleet of trucks.
What started with a handful of volunteers has grown into thousands of people giving their time and talents to serve others.
Seven banana boxes have become millions of pounds of food rescued and redistributed each year.

One small warehouse has grown into a much larger operation with multiple Ministry Selection Centers.
What began as local outreach has expanded to food being distributed across the United States and internationally.
And what started as a small vision has become a growing network of churches, food banks, and other ministry partners working together to bring food, hope, and encouragement to communities in need.
None of this happened overnight.
It happened one step at a time. One truckload. One volunteer. One partner. One donation. One opportunity to say “yes” and keep moving forward.
Through it all, God has been faithful.

As grateful as we are to look back, we are even more excited to look ahead.
The story of Blessings of Hope is still being written.
There are still communities to reach. More food to rescue. More families to serve. More partnerships to build. And more opportunities to turn what could have been wasted into hope for someone who needs it.
As we enter this next chapter, we do so with the same faith that carried us through the first 20 years.
We may not always know exactly what lies ahead.
But we know Who does.
And so, we’ll keep going.

On September 17, 2026, we invite you to join us as we celebrate 20 years of God’s faithfulness at the Blessings of Hope Fall Banquet.
It will be an evening to celebrate the stories, people, volunteers, partners, and supporters who have helped shape this ministry over the past two decades. Together, we’ll look back at where we started, celebrate how far God has brought us, and look ahead with anticipation to all that is still to come.

Twenty years ago, we had no way of knowing all that God would do through one small beginning.
But we kept going.
And looking back now, there is only one thing we can say:
Thank God we kept going.
And thank you for being part of the journey.
We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate 20 years of God’s faithfulness—and look forward with anticipation to everything that is still ahead.
With gratitude,
Blessings of Hope
He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6
