Dear Friends,
In Liberia, life is a daily struggle for survival. More than 60% of the population lives in poverty, most surviving on less than $200 a month. For many families, “home” is a makeshift shelter without electricity or running water. Cooking is done over open fires with whatever ingredients can be found—sometimes chicken feet in soup, if they’re lucky. Many people don’t own a car. Most only eat one meal a day.
Recently, our Visionary, Aaron Fisher, and his daughter traveled to Liberia with Empowering Generations, an organization dedicated to supporting children’s education. In their luggage? Six suitcases filled with something that would make a world of difference—dehydrated soup.

When word spread that food had arrived, the need was overwhelming. Lines formed quickly, but soon became chaotic as desperate families reached for anything they could to feed their loved ones. The team moved fast, passing bags of soup into as many outstretched hands as possible.
Once each family had a bag of the soup blend, something beautiful happened. Our team watched as families transformed those dry ingredients into a hearty, flavorful meal—combining the soup with stew and serving it over rice. What began as a handful of dehydrated vegetables became hope on a plate.

Buckets: A Symbol of Hope
But there was another moment the team didn’t expect. People weren’t only reaching for the food—they were reaching for the buckets that carried it. In Liberia, a sturdy bucket is more than a container. It’s a way to carry clean water, to wash clothes, to store food safely. Those simple buckets became just as valuable as the meals themselves.

This is what your support makes possible. At Blessings of Hope, your generosity doesn’t just fill stomachs—it restores dignity, sparks joy, and reminds people that they matter.
From a bowl of soup to a humble bucket, every gift you give has the power to change lives.
Thank you for walking with us—helping bring hope to Liberia, one meal, one bucket, one family at a time.
With gratitude,
Blessings of Hope
On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come. 1 Corinthians 16:2
