The Thanksgiving holiday season is a time for being thankful and a time for giving to those in need. While many of you may be thinking about a lovely turkey dinner with your family, there are those who don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Blessings of Hope steps up our distribution during the final quarter of the year because the need is greater. We want to introduce to you one of our partners who also knows the need is great and they are doing something about it.
Since 2015, LifeSeeds International has facilitated the distribution of 55,708,000 pounds of food. LifeSeeds receives food from Blessings of Hope for their monthly outreaches in Harrisburg, PA, and other locations in New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland and New York. While it’s true that many of their volunteer staff have stories laced with bad choices and firsthand experiences of being in bondage, LifeSeeds has welcomed them with a second chance. These volunteers have found HOPE and a desire to share the love of Jesus that has transformed their lives, with anyone who will listen. They truly have servants’ hearts and have found a sense of belonging in this community. Watch our video to see some individual stories!
