Merry Christmas! We hope this day finds you gathered with loved ones, savoring moments of rest, joy, and—of course—something delicious on the table as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
As our team prepared for the season, we had the joy of packing Christmas gifts for our amazing monthly donors. Inside each package was a variety pack of gourmet popcorn—a small but heartfelt way to say thank you for the big impact you make all year long. Your generosity truly keeps hope poppin’ in our community.
And Christmas feels like the perfect time to share a glimpse of what that impact looks like in action.
Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Cocoa Packs in Hershey, a partner ministry dedicated to providing food and essential support to children who need it most. Their reach is remarkable—more than 2,100 children across 18 school districts and six counties receive food sourced from Blessings of Hope and other partners.
Each week, Cocoa Packs distributes food “packs” filled with around 30 snack items, along with racks of additional groceries families can choose from. As cars move through the carline at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, recipients select items like bread, milk, eggs, fresh produce—and even fresh flowers. Groceries are placed directly into vehicles, offering dignity, choice, and care in every interaction.

But Cocoa Packs’ care doesn’t stop with nutrition. Children enrolled in the program also have access to resources such as a clothing closet and Christmas gifts. Their goal is simple and powerful: remove as many barriers as possible so children can thrive.
Stories like these are a beautiful reminder that your support does far more than fill a cupboard. You strengthen entire ministries. You lift families. You offer hope—especially during a season that celebrates the greatest gift of all.
