Dear Friends,
Service starts young! Recently, Salisbury Elementary, part of the Pequea Valley School District, partnered with Blessings of Hope to give 5th graders a hands-on experience in serving their community.
Through sorting and packing food, these students discovered that giving back isn’t just about helping others—it’s about being part of something bigger. Their teachers, Anita Gervin and Matt Rogers, shared that they hope this experience will plant a lifelong passion for service in their students’ hearts.
Watch our short video to see these amazing students in action!
We’re so grateful for volunteers like this group who share their time and energy to make a difference. Whether they’re students, families, or community partners, every volunteer plays a vital role in helping us feed families and share hope across our communities.
Moments like these remind us why community partnerships matter. Together, we’re shaping future leaders who understand the power of compassion and generosity.
Thank you for helping make opportunities like this possible. Your support not only feeds families—it inspires the next generation to carry hope forward. Make a difference and bring your group to volunteer HERE.
With gratitude,
Blessings of Hope
