Event Lineup:
April 15 & 18, 2024 – Teaming up with Financial Planning Ministries (FPM), a non-profit ministry specializing in working with Christian organizations, Blessings of Hope is offering an opportunity for our community to gain valuable insights into estate planning. From protecting assets to establishing wills or living trusts, setting up advanced healthcare directives and guardianship of minor children, this collaboration seeks to empower individuals with the knowledge needed to secure their futures. April 23, 2024 – As April marks National Volunteer Month, we eagerly anticipate our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event. This is our chance to express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers who selflessly give their time and energy to our cause. During this event, we will shine a spotlight on those volunteers who have gone above and beyond, presenting them with well-deserved awards in recognition of their exceptional service.
May 6, 2024 – In another endeavor to support our mission, Blessings of Hope is organizing the Inaugural Golf Outing tournament. With all proceeds directed towards sending truckloads of food to inner cities, participants will not only enjoy a day of golf but also contribute to a meaningful cause, making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with food insecurity. May 30 – June 1, 2024 – The pinnacle of our spring events is the three-day iCare event, promising a multitude of activities aimed at bringing the community together in solidarity. Kicking off with a banquet, where donors, sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, and neighbors can gather for an evening of food and fellowship, this event sets the stage for the days to come. The following day will feature live bands and delectable food, fostering an atmosphere of celebration and unity. The festivities will culminate with an array of activities including an auction, a festival of food, a 5K race, children’s activities, and a cornhole tournament, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy while supporting a worthy cause.
