Blessings of Hope has a number of different campaigns that you can use to target your gift toward a specific outreach.

A Donor Advised Fund allows you to make an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program (For example: Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, etc.). You claim a current year tax-deduction for the full amount invested in the DAF and you can then make donations to the charities of your choice from the amount in the fund, including any investment growth, for as long as the fund exists.

More information about Donor Advised Funds can be found here.

If you need to make a required minimum distribution from your retirement account, you can make Blessings of Hope the recipient of some or all of that distribution and increase effect. If the distribution goes directly to a charity, the charity receives 100% and you pay nothing in tax. This can add up to 30% to the value of your gift.

You can read more here or talk to your financial advisor about setting up direct disbursements from your retirement accounts.

Planned giving is when you make Blessings of Hope a beneficiary of the proceeds from your estate. This can include wills, trusts and any account with named beneficiaries.

More information about how to establish an estate gift can be found here.

Blessings of Hope can receive things like stocks, mutual funds, or business interests without you having to convert them into cash.

To donate this type of asset, you can use the donation form above, contact your financial advisor, or contact one of our trusted financial partners (a list of the partners can be found here).

Blessings of Hope also has the ability to receive personal property. This can include anything of value from gift cards to real estate, from collectables to vehicles.

Feel free to contact us if you need assistance.

Cryptocurrency that has appreciated over time can be donated directly to a nonprofit like Blessings of Hope. By doing this, there are three potential benefits:
1. The nonprofit benefits from a donation of the appreciated value of the asset.
2. The donor can often avoid capital gains tax associated with the appreciation in value of the asset.
3. The donor can claim a current year tax deduction of the fair market value of the asset donated.

More information about Cryptocurrency donations can be found here.

Blessings of Hope is a registered nonprofit and all donations are tax-deductible.
