Last year, we took a significant step forward by implementing a new volunteer management system called Rosterfy. This innovative system has revolutionized our operations, significantly increasing efficiency and reducing the burden of data entry for our front desk staff. Rosterfy consolidates three functions into one seamless platform, eliminating the need for multiple programs. It also allows for more efficient tracking of volunteer hours by grouping users by families. Soon our truck drivers can also check in using the system, streamlining their processes as well. We are excited to announce that we are planning to roll out Rosterfy to our Kentucky location next!
The driving force behind the successful implementation of this new system is Lori Glick, one of our dedicated Administrative Managers. Many of you may remember Lori as a Receptionist when she joined Blessings of Hope in 2020. Lori quickly proved herself an invaluable asset to our team and has since taken on the responsibility of developing new systems and policies, editing, and event planning.
Be a hero: Sign up for a shift:
We are now calling on all volunteers to sign up for a shift using our new software, Rosterfy. You can also call our front desk at 717-824-1227 and we can sign you up. Together, we can bring hope to the hungry and make a lasting impact on our communities. Our volunteers are the backbone of our mission, whether it’s sorting produce, repackaging food into manageable sizes, stocking shelves, freezing and sorting food, packing boxes for efficient distribution, building, cleaning, painting, providing technical assistance, and so much more. In doing so, our volunteers help us distribute 1.8 million meals every month to those struggling with hunger—a staggering 50 million nationwide or 12.5% of US households.
Can we count on you for help?
Warm regards,
Blessings of Hope
