Dear Friends,
Are you ready to be part of something special? The iCare Community Event kicks off today, and we’re excited to extend a warm invitation to each one of you. While our banquet tonight is already sold out, fret not—there are plenty of exciting activities lined up for the rest of the weekend that you won’t want to miss!
Welcome to the iCare Community
Tomorrow evening at 5pm on Friday, May 31st, we’re kicking off the festivities with a mouthwatering festival of food featuring delicious offerings like beef brisket and soft pretzels. But that’s not all—our gospel concert, featuring the talents of Dan and Amanda Esh alongside LeRoy Stoltzfus, begins at 6:30pm. Dan’s musical journey began with a harmonica at age 12, while Amanda discovered her passion for piano at the same age. LeRoy Stoltzfus, raised Amish until age 14, found his calling in guitar playing at a young age and has become known for his soul-stirring gospel music.
Saturday, June 1st, promises to be an action-packed day for the whole family. Join us for another festival of food, ongoing throughout the day, alongside a range of exciting activities. The morning kicks off early with food at 7am, a race at 7:30am, children’s activities at 8am, an auction at 9am, and a cornhole tournament at 10am.
But the iCare Community Event isn’t just about food and fun—it’s about making a difference. This event is a cornerstone in our efforts to raise crucial funds for Blessings of Hope and to raise awareness about our mission to combat hunger. It’s a chance for donors, sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, and neighbors to come together, enjoy great food, and learn more about the impactful work we do.
Thank you all for your unwavering support. We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new friends to this year’s iCare Community Event. Let’s join hands to strengthen our community and spread hope together!
Warmly,
Blessings of Hope
